Data Manager and Project Coordinator

As Data Manager and Project Coordinator for MORU Epidemiology for the Regional Capacity Development Technical Assistance Project Malaria and Dengue Risk Mapping and Response Planning in the Greater Mekong Sub-region, July Ko Ko works under the supervision of Prof Richard Maude. Based at the Central Office of the Vector Borne Disease Control Programme, Ministry of Health and Sports in Naypyitaw, Myanmar where he provides technical assistance to and liaises with government officials, July is an honorary consultant for the Ayeyarwaddy Regional Election Commission for the Voter Registration Database System.

Before joining MORU, July worked in Myanmar in Data Management and Monitoring and Evaluation for WHO, Save the Children, International Foundation for Electoral System, and World Vision. July created the Monitoring & Reporting Database System for the Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health Programme at Save the Children Myanmar, working as Database, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer. July is interested in data management, monitoring & evaluation, response planning & management, geospatial analysis, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), and Open Data Kit (ODK).
