Julia Gabel
Visiting Research Pharmacist
Julia Gabel is a PhD student based at the Pharmaceutical Institute, Tübingen University, Germany. She studied pharmacy at the University of Tuebingen, Germany and the University of Malawi, Blantyre, Malawi. In her PhD she investigates the quality of essential medicines in African countries as well as medicine quality screening technologies for use in low-resource settings. She joined the Medicine Quality Research Group in February 2024 for 6-months as part of her PhD. At the Medicine Quality Research Group, she provides expertise and support of research projects including screening technologies and forensics work.
