We are delighted to announce that four MORU Tropical Health Network researchers were among 10 NDM researchers recently awarded the title of Professor, in recognition of their research achievements, and contribution to teaching and to the general work of the Nuffield Department of Medicine, University of Oxford, in the most recent recognition of distinction process.

  • Brian Angus: Professor of Practice, Medical Education
  • Oliver Bannard: Professor of Adaptive Immunity
  • Edwine Barasa: Professor of Health Economics
  • Christiane Dolecek, Senior Researcher, Microbiology, MORU: Professor of Global Health
  • Ronald Geskus:  Professor of Medical Statistics
  • Catherine Green: Professor of Clinical Biomanufacturing
  • Juthathip Mongkolsapaya, Senior Immunologist, based in MORU Bangkok: Professor of Viral Immunology
  • Mavuto Mukaka, Head of Statistics, Clinical Trials Support Group (CTSG), MORU: Professor of Medical Statistics and Epidemiology
  • Bob Taylor, Senior Clinical Research Fellow, Clinical Therapeutics Unit (CTU): Professor of Tropical Medicine
  • David Withers: Professor of Experimental Cancer Immunology
