Podjanee Jittamala
Senior Research Physician
A Senior Research Physician at MORU Medical Therapeutics Unit (MTU) and a paediatrician specialising in paediatric infectious diseases at the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, Podjanee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Tropical Hygiene. She works in the Hospital for Tropical Diseases and is also involved in teaching and research. Dr Podjanee’s research expertise includes infectious epidemiology and clinical trial i.e. malaria, dengue, HIV, tuberculosis, COVID 19 infection. She is also experienced in leading pragmatic trials, assessing the efficacy of treatments or therapies available for malaria in real-life routine practices.
