A Research Assistant in the Epidemiology Department at Mahidol-Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU), Orathai Prasert obtained a BSc in Public Health (Community Health) from Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University. As a research assistant, Orathai arranges and coordinates the field study Epidemiology of Malaria in Northeast Thailand: A Case Control Study, based in Buntharik Hospital, Ubon Ratchathani. This study collects data in Ubon Ratchathani province (including Buntharik Hospital, Buntharik Malaria Clinic, Na Chaluai Hospital, Na Chaluai Malaria Clinic, Num Yuen Hospital, and Num Yuen Malaria Clinic) and in Si Sa Ket province (including Kan Thara Lak Hospital, Phu Sing Hospital, Khun Han Hospital, Khukhan Hospital and all BVBD malaria clinics in Si Sa Ket.
