Tim is currently working with Professor Sir Nick White on a range of infectious diseases including Chagas disease and malaria.

Tim also has  research interests on the following topics which he is keen to collaborate on:

  • visceral leishmaniasis, PKDL & VL/HIV co-infection
    • simulating outbreaks of VL at the village level
    • within-host models in the sandfly & human
    • modelling of L.donovani transmission in East Africa
  • spatiotemporal modelling of infectious diseases
  • deconvolution of observed time series
  • interrupted time series analysis of areal data
  • tau statistic - a spatiotemporal clustering statistic that can assess the presence of clustering of cases and estimate its magnitude & range
