Kulchada Pongsoipetch
Spatial Data Engineer
Kulchada received a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Geoinformatics from Chulalongkorn University. She is interested in technical geography, coding and data analyzing. During a summer break of my second year, Kulchada enrolled and became a trainee at ESRI Thailand. Being a trainee at the company provided Kulchada more practical experience on using cartography related software to work with many forms of spatial data. In her senior year, Kulchada did a project called A study of Daytime and Nighttime Population in Bangkok from Geo-located and Time-stamped Twitter Data. The study was self-learned, and it broadened Kulchada’s knowledge in both coding in Python and SQL and map making to analyze spatiotemporal, big data.
