Using GPS to map Cambodia neonatal care needs

Siem Reap (Cambodia) 15 July 2013 – Hout Sambath, left, community coordinator for COMRU’s neonatal project, is currently GPS mapping all the villages around the Angkor Hospital for Children Satellite Clinic in Sotnikum district, about 40km east of COMRU’s home in Siem Reap. Some locations can be difficult to reach during rainy season!

The neonatal project is a retrospective descriptive study collecting vital background data for future studies. COMRU will use this data to see where neonates who present to the hospital come from and which villages have the highest demand for neonatal care.
