Shwe Sin Kyaw
Shwe Sin Kyaw’s research interests are in epidemiology and health economics. Her current research focuses on the cost-effectiveness of using village health workers for malaria treatment and control. She currently works on the Economic-epidemiological modelling to support containment of artemisinin resistance in the MARC regions of Myanmar (MARCMod) project. In addition, Shwe Sin works closely with Clinical Trial Support Group and assists in the data management and coding of malaria projects.
Before joining MORU, she worked as a Research Assistant at National University of Singapore where she supervised final year Pharmacy students’ projects. She has also worked as a medical doctor in malaria endemic area of Myanmar.
